Baked Oatmeal

Baked Oatmeal

Preparation time:

10 minutes + 45 minutes baking


2 2/3 cups old fashioned oats

cup raisins

4 cups milk

1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon cinnamon

teaspoon salt

2 medium apples, chopped (2 cups)


Combine all ingredients, bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts when serving.


This keeps well in a storage container in the fridge I make a batch on the weekend and its good for several days during the week.
